The company with the name “COWBOY TV ANDREAS DERDEMEZIS” based in Kifissia, Attica, 54 Karpathou Street, (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”) organizes eGaming within the 85th TIF. As part of the eGaming event, the Organizer will host an e-sports tournament (hereinafter “Competitions”) with participants from the guests of the 85th TIF.
The purpose of these detailed terms (hereinafter the “Terms”) is to determine the terms of participation in the Competitions, the draw and the nomination of winners in the context of the Competitions.
1. Right to Participate
Eligible to participate in the Competition are those who have completed the 18th year of age and are residents of Greece. Excluded from the Competition are the incapable persons, the employees and the representatives of the companies of the Organizing Group as well as their relatives of first and second degree, their spouses or anyone who is professionally related to the said Competition.
2. Manner of Participation / Tender Mechanism
The Contest consists of free participation without the need to purchase a product or pay any price.
The procedure for participation in this Contest is as follows: The application process can be done, if the contestant agrees to these Terms, or through the website of the Contest, for the Contests provided online registration, www.gameathlon.eu , following the instructions and links listed up to 15 ‘before the start of the tournament, or during their physical presence on the day and time of his presence at the venue of the tournament at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the Competition, as is defined in the program which has been posted on the website www.gameathlon.eu .
In order for the participation in the Competition to be considered valid, after the user is invited to read the Terms, he must state his consent and fill in an information form (hereinafter “Participation Form”) in which he is asked to declare the required personal data.
All participants in the Contest fully and unreservedly accept these Terms, while providing their consent as the personal information will be entered in the Entry Form to be used by the Organizer for the purposes of the Contest, as described in detail below.
The winner of the Competition will result from the exclusion process in each game that will take place on the spot in the participating stores in front of the contestants, ensuring the integrity of the process.
Participation in the Competition requires access to the internet through their own technical means. The Organizer and the Advertiser do not undertake any obligation regarding the provision, assistance of access to internet sites or the provision of facilities to anyone interested. Access to the Website of the Contest is allowed only under the operating conditions of the relevant server (server) and the technical and other conditions and specifications of the Contest. The Organizer considers that each participant is the owner and has the sole control of the e-mail address he declares.
3. Contest Gifts / How to Receive
The prizes of the competitions will consist of either cash prizes or in kind, depending on the competition and according to the information listed on the website www.gameathlon.eu .
The winners will be informed by the Organizer about the time and manner of receiving their Prizes orally at the end of the game in which they won and / or by e-mail after the end of the Duration. The winner will be asked for his / her full details in order to be able to verify the identity upon delivery of the prize. Any fees or taxes related to the disposal of the prize are borne by the winner. The gift is personal, non-transferable and non-exchangeable in case the gift is in kind.
In the case of a cash prize, the prize will be given to the winner in the form of either an invoice to which the corresponding tax will be charged (VAT 24%) or in the form of an Expense Receipt in which the final amount will be REDUCED by the amount of tax due in accordance with current legislation.
The prize will be received by the winner upon presentation of the Police Identity Card or other public document, from which the identity and age of the winner can be determined. The winner is entitled to receive his prize within 10 calendar days from the date of his notification after consultation with the Organizer. In case the winner does not receive within 10 calendar days from the date of notification for reasons that do not concern the Organizer, neglects, ignores, refuses the gift to which he is entitled or it becomes impossible to communicate with him for reasons that come to his face, loses definitively any rights in respect of this Gift.
In case of force majeure outside the sphere of influence of the Organizer, the latter is entitled not to offer the winner a gift, nor an alternative gift, in which case he will be released from any responsibility and will not be obliged to offer an alternative gift of any form and value.
4. Explicit Declaration / Consent / Acceptance of Participants
All participants in the Competition fully and unconditionally accept these Terms. If any interested party does not accept these terms, he is obliged not to participate in the Competition. Also all participants acknowledge, declare and accept explicitly and unconditionally that:
- (a) the e-mail address provided by the participants in the data form belongs to them;
- (b) are adults aged eighteen or more (18) years;
- (c) their personality, health and / or physical integrity are not harmed or harmed in any way by their participation in the Competition;
- (d) their participation in the Competition does not infringe on personal data, personal rights or intellectual or industrial property rights, trade secrets or other property rights of any third party;
- (e) expressly consent to the Organizer and / or the Advertiser using their personal data (name, telephone and e-mail address) in accordance with paragraph 9 below;
- to carry out promotional and promotional activities at any time, worldwide. The Organizer reserves the right to use and publish any news item related to the conduct and results of the Competition. The Organizer reserves the right to use and publish any news item related to the conduct and results of the Competition. Participants have the right to use the audiovisual material (edited or not) that may arise during the competition, their participation, the opinions that may be submitted by the participants via Facebook or video, as well as any relevant event for advertising purposes, without the obligation of prior notice, free of charge and without this constituting an insult to their personality.
- (g) They waive any legal or extrajudicial action against the Organizer and / or the Advertiser in case the latter deems that a participant should be removed from the Competition for the reasons stated in these terms of participation.
5. Exclusion of Competitors
The Organizer may – but is not obliged – to exclude from the Competition, at any stage of its conduct, any participant who in its opinion is likely to have used (or attempted to use) unfair means in connection with its participation or has violated (or has attempted to violate) any of these terms. Unfair means means, indicatively and not restrictively, the use of devices, media, computers and / or software to facilitate automated or multiple participations without human intervention, interception, etc.
In addition, entries with content that offends public decency and good morals or presents ambiguities or other technical defects will not be accepted. Also, entries will be canceled with content that is insulting, vulgar, defamatory, dangerous, racist, that insults human dignity or in general contradicts the existing provisions or in any other way indecent at the absolute discretion of the Organizer.
Any of the winners, at any stage can be canceled for the following reasons:
- (a) in the event that, for any reason, it does not fully accept these Terms or does not meet the conditions of any of the Terms, all of which are deemed essential.
- (b) in the event that for any reason it is not possible to communicate with the winner within the predetermined deadlines set out in these terms or for reasons relating to his person.
6. Tender Cancellation / Modification of Terms / Liability
The Organizer reserves the right, unilaterally, without notice and at its discretion, to modify, revoke, extend or reduce the duration of the Contest, to change the prizes offered, as well as to change its terms and / or cancel the contest, with an announcement on the Internet. In these cases the Organizer bears no responsibility towards the participants and / or any third party. In case the competition is canceled, the participants do not acquire any right against the Organizer, nor are they legalized or entitled to request its continuation or any compensation.
In no event is the Organizer / Advertiser liable for any direct or indirect damages, costs and expenses that may arise from any interruption, malfunction or delay or any other cause related to the Contest or its cancellation.
The participants are solely responsible for the complete and correct completion and submission of their data in the entry form of the competition. The Organizer and / or the Advertising Company are not responsible for any damage that occurs on the website www.gameathlon.eu during the time of the Competition or for forms that were lost or contained incorrect or incomplete information. Entries that do not comply with these terms will be excluded from the draw.
7. Trademarks / Copyright of the Organizer
The participants do not have or acquire any absolute rights over the marks, names, indications, emblems and other insignia of the Organizing Group.
8. Personal Data
The Organizer will keep the details of the participants in a database, either by automated means, or by non-automated means, or by itself or through any other person it may appoint (the “Executor”) in order to handle the management of for the purpose of conducting the tender and the future direct marketing of its products or services. The Organizer may transmit the data to companies in its group.
The processing of personal data by the Organizer and the Executor of the Processing is done in accordance with Law 2472/1997 (as it has been amended and is in force).

9. Intellectual Property Rights
Participants transmit definitively, irrevocably and free of charge to the Organizer unlimited, worldwide and in perpetuity, all copyright on audiovisual material, photographs, audio performances, videos and other intellectual works that may arise during the participation. hereinafter referred to as the “Projects” without time, geographical or other restriction, in order for the Organizer to become the exclusive beneficiary of the Projects and to have the right to their full and exclusive exploitation, as well as the right to grant them to any third party, use and exploitation of them, by any means and form, whether used today or invented in the future, for the entire period of protection of these rights,including any extensions and renewals thereof and thereafter, where possible, in perpetuity.
The transfer agreed under these Terms takes place without the participant being entitled to any remuneration, and the consent granted by these terms to each participant in the exercise of the rights granted to her above, is a legal way of exercising the moral right, which is binding on the participant in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law on Protection of Intellectual Property (Law 2121/1993).
In addition, each participant explicitly undertakes to carry out, at the request of the Organizer and at its own expense, all additional actions and acts that may be required for the implementation of these Terms and will sign all the relevant acts and documents, which may be reasonably required by the Organizer, in order to grant it the rights deriving from the Projects, as well as for the protection and enforcement of these rights.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute that may arise regarding the Competition and the application of these terms of participation will be resolved amicably in principle.
In any case of judicial settlement of the dispute, the Courts of Athens are competent and the Greek law is applicable. Any provision of the above terms deemed contrary to the Law, automatically ceases to be valid, without in any case affecting the validity of the other terms.
